Everyone says it, but our team really is the engine behind our success. Each member contributes in their own unique way, but NJC’s real superpower is the can-do attitude our people bring to work each day and the way they work together for the benefit of our customers.

Building a positive environment together

NJC has a very simple yet profound ethos regarding structure. We see the business in three cherished tiers. The first tier is our beloved customers, for without them, our business would not exist.

A very close second tier is our ‘Not Just Cleaners’. These are the frontline heroes, the operational teams, the incredible individuals who work tirelessly and take care of NJC’s customers every single day.

The third tier encompasses everyone else in the business—the CEOs, the MD, the board, the finance team, human resources, business support, payroll, health and safety, CSR, and more. Each person in this tier is dedicated to serving and supporting our ‘Not Just Cleaners’ and operational teams, ensuring they have the support, tools, resources, flexibility, and respect they deserve. We want them to truly feel like a cherished part of the NJC Family, enabling them to achieve outstanding results for our customers, day in and day out.

I was born in 1969 in Middlesex and grew up in Wallingford. I am married to Amanda, I have two Sons, Fletcher and Finley.

I am a horseracing enthusiast, keen golfer.  I enjoy travelling abroad and socialising with family and friends.

I’m an entrepreneur at heart, and happiest when problem solving and innovating. After being awarded a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from South Bank University in 1998 and working as a Building Surveyor for 8 years, I joined the family business in 2000 as Commercial Director and haven’t looked back. My degree and work as a Surveyor gave me a thorough understanding of the built environment, construction, facilities management and landlord and tenant issues, which has proved invaluable in my work at NJC over the years. I am a lifelong, loyal fan of West Ham United (forever the optimist) and played football to a high standard as a teenager. My wife and I have owned Irish Setters for years and we love long dog walks in the countryside, maybe with a cold beer waiting at the end.

I am a proud father of three and have been married to my wonderful wife for 16 years. I am a military veteran from my younger days, I transitioned into the world of Facilities Management nearly 12 years ago. During this time, I've gained experience on both the client and contractor sides, spending much of my career as a Shopping Centre Manager before fully embracing the cleaning industry. Outside of work, I am passionate about volunteering, whether it's coaching athletics or taking on ridiculous challenges like a 25,000-press-up marathon to raise money for charity. My love for sports has been with me since childhood, and I've competed in almost every sport imaginable. Currently, I find joy and success in athletics, where I proudly hold the title of Masters National Champion in Shot Put and Javelin.

I am Kieran the HR Director for NJC. I have been in the FM industry for over 5 years and with NJC over 2 years. Since joining the FM sector, I feel I have really found my element. What inspires me most is the dedication and hard work of the people who work in this industry making sure that buildings, residences, and places are fit for purpose and ultimately ensuring society can run and function. I am immensely proud to be leading the people department for NJC and championing the ‘powered by our people’ ethos as I firmly believe our people are our key asset in this industry. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, watching and playing all kinds of sport such as football, golf, cricket, tennis as well as learning (or trying to learn!) new languages.

I am a proud father, seasoned manager in the cleaning industry, and ex-footballer (who has since hung up my boots). I’ve tackled just about every challenge – whether on the pitch, in business, or at home. With 9 years of management experience and 12 years in the cleaning industry, I’m passionate about keeping things running smoothly and efficiently. When I’m not strategizing ways to improve our services, you’ll either find me singing my heart out (much to my kids’ delight!) or reminiscing about my days playing football at a high level. I believe in teamwork, whether it's with my family or my fantastic team here at NJC.

I began my career in cleaning at 18, starting as a cleaner and working my way up to Regional Director at NJC. My passion for operational excellence has driven my growth, and my experience from the ground up gives me valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in the industry, which I actively share with my team. Outside of work, I play football twice a week. Although I like to think I'm good, I'm often reminded that I might not be as skilled as I believe!

Gary is an experienced senior manager with over 14 years of experience in the window cleaning industry, possessing extensive knowledge of both window and specialist cleaning techniques. He has worked on some of the largest buildings in the UK and has handled projects for prestigious clients such as the Ministry of Defence, financial institutions, and blue-chip organizations. A father of three, he is easygoing by nature, hates spiders, loves food, and is an average cyclist.
